Teresa Maltese

Teresa Maltese a resident of New Rochelle since 1945 passed away Thursday, March 31, 2011. She was 80 years old. Born on December 1, 1930 in Satriano, Italy, she was the beloved daughter of Dominic & Ernestina Sinopoli. Teresa was the devoted wife of the late Salvatore who predeceased her in 1984. She enjoyed life best when she was caring and cooking for her family. She was a seamstress for many years and later in her life she enjoyed babysitting for many children who came to love her as Grams. Teresa had a great compassion for her religion and also enjoyed reading and walking. She is survived by her five children Thomas, Denise Di Buono, Kathy (Arnold) Bruzzano , Tina Maltese and Sally (Edward) O’Brien and her 8 grandchildren Erica, Emily, Sophie, Chelsea, Alexa, Matthew, Isabelle and Brady. Visiting is scheduled for Sunday from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 P.M. Funeral Mass Monday 9:30 Blessed Sacrament Church with interment in the Beechwood’s Cemetery.
