Violet Cates a long time resident of New Rochelle passed away Wednesday January 9, 2013 at the Sound Shore Medical Center. She was 91 years old. Violet was born in New York City on May 17, 1921. She worked as a office manager for many years in the import-export business. She was the devoted wife of the late Howard Cates.
