

Andy was saved at the age of twelve. He was an active lifelong member of Liberty Baptist Church, serving as a devoted deacon, former treasures, trustee until death. He sang with the Liberty Quartet for 55 years. He worked with the Claiborne County Board of Education for 19 years, farmed most his life and did many other jobs in his lifetime. Andy was a devoted loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend.
Preceded in death by his parents Haynes & Cordia Bolton Buchanan; grandchild, Andrea Reynea Buchanan; brothers, Neal and Hughie Kyle Buchanan; sisters Genera Dotson, Mary McDaniel, Bertha Lynch and Estella Cook.
Survived by devoted loving wife of 64 years Bonnie Mallicoat Buchanan

The family will receive friends Monday August 27 from 5-9pm at the Liberty Baptist Church. Funeral service will be Tuesday August 28,2012 at 2:00pm in the Liberty Baptist Church. Burial in the Liberty cemetery.
