Anna Mae Dalton
June 19, 1930 – February 20, 2018
Anna Mae Coffey Dalton, age 87 of Thorn Hill, passed away at home on Tuesday, February 20, 2018, surrounded by her family. She was loved by all who knew her. She professed her faith in Christ at an early age at Oak Hill Missionary Baptist Church and later moved her membership to Cedar Springs Missionary Baptist Church where she remained a member until her death. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Rev. Garrett Dalton, her parents George & Buena Coffey; 8 brothers and 2 sisters. She is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law: Brenda Sue and J.W. Dalton with whom she made her home Grandchildren: Carolyn (Steve) Yount, Jeff (Lori) Dalton, Charlotte (Kenny) Williams and Jason (Julie) Dalton Great-Grandchildren whom she loved and spoiled generously: Hunter (Kassi), Jaelyn and Garren Yount. Will, Hayden and Anna Dalton, Ethan, Raychel and Baylor Dalton, Hunter and Halynn Seay One Great-Great Grandchild: Isabella Yount One Brother: Gene (Carolyn) Coffey Sisters-in-law: Maude and Ellen Coffey, Eva (Pat) Dockery, Virginia (Jimmy) Russell and Brilla (Terry) Pollard Brothers-in-law: Larry (Carolyn) Dalton and Major (Lea) Dalton And a host of nieces and nephews
She was lovingly cared for by her daughter Brenda for several years. Special care givers Eva Dockery, Shirley Dalton, Chelsie Smith and Deana Bowlin. Special thank you to Dr. John Short and Amedysis Home Health for their caring service.
The family will receive friends Wednesday February 21, 2018 from 5 until 8 P.M. at Coffey Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Thursday February 22, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Rutherford and Rev. Arnold Dalton officiating. Interment in the Dalton Cemetery.
