Barbara Ann Ernst

She was a member of Goins Chapel Baptist Church in Sneedville, TN.

She was preceded in death by her father, Luther Kyle Gibson, Sr.; mother, Agnes L. (Clement) Gibson; sister, Linda Sue Gibson; brother, Luther Kyle Gibson, Jr.; son, Jerry Lee Wright; and granddaughter, Melissa Ann Wright.

She is survived by daughter, Kelly Ernst; sons and daughter-in-law, Doug Wright, and Jim (Ellen) Wright; grandchildren Daniel Ernst, Samantha Ernst, Haley Johnson, Ashley Johnson, James (Sarah) Wright, C.J. Wright, and Emily Wright; great-grandsons Ryland Charles Ernst; Mason Wright, Hudson Wright, and Jasper Wright; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Barbara was much loved and will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff of UT Medical Center, UT Vascular Surgeons, Heartland Primary Care, and UT Hospice for their compassionate care and support in Barbara’s final days.

The family will plan a private celebration of life at a later date.
