Billy Ray Poore

Billy was a good brother, father, grandfather, and friend. He loved his country and proudly served in the Army. He will be missed.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents, Doc Poore and Cecil West.

He is survived by his daughters, Mandy (Ramon) Amoureux and Lindsey (Bruce) Brooks; grandchildren, Meghan, Caleb, and Jasmine Poore, Mackenzie Amoureux, Trevor and Triston Epperson; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Wanda Corum, Edna (Neil) Chumley, and Sharon (Lash) Loop; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A graveside service with Military Honors will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at 2:00 PM in the Howard Cemetery in Cumberland Gap.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Steve Ousley, Terry Keck, and the Campbell County Honor Guard.
