Bruce Ford

Bruce Calvin Ford age 62 of Tazewell, went home to be with the Lord May 19, 2024 after a life long battle with Sickle Cell Anemia he fought it with courage every day day of his life he was given a life expectancy of 38 but, he was a SCD warrior & made it to 62 years old.

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents Pete & Loretta Ford, & sister Anita Ford.

Bruce is survived by many who he held so dear in his life his daughter Samantha L Ford New Tazewell, Tn, Son Cameron B Ford of New Tazewell, Tn & three grandchildren that brought him so much joy Grayson Turner, Liam Baker, & Noah Baker. The mother of his children Diana Ford, Sister Shelia Ford & brother Donald Ford of Tazewell, Tn.

Bruce came to accept Jesus as his savior when he was forty years old he loved old gospel music. Bruce had several hobbies he collected old coins, knives, watches he loved watching shows about classic cars. Bruce loved to sketch & draw pictures & was really good at it. Bruce was a life long fan of the Tennessee Volunteers football & the Pittsburg Steelers.

A memorial service for Bruce will be set at a later date so that his family & friends can come together and celebrate his life & home-going. Bruce will be remembered with love & will be missed until we see him again in heaven!
