He lived in Holland, MI for 46 years where he was an industrial engineer. He was a member of the Church of God in Holland, MI.

He was preceded in death by his son, Tommy Joe Hensley; parents, Wilson and Lucille Hensley; brother, Earl Hensley and sister, Velva Howard.

He is survived by his wife, Helen Lucille Hensley of Hulen, KY

Son, David Lee Hensley of Phoenix City, AL

Daughters, Mary Ann (Don) Tullila of IL and Pamela Sue (Ralph) Hughes of Fennville, MI

13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren

Brothers, Frank Hensley and Arnold Hensley

Sisters, Betty Jean Daniels, Mary Tyler and Shirley Ann Hensley all of Holland, MI

Several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 7-9PM Monday, Sept. 1, 2014 at Coffey Funeral Home in New Tazewell, TN. Funeral service will be held at the Faith Holiness Church in Smith, KY Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2014 at 1:00PM with Rev. Spencer Burkhart and Rev. Ernest Hensley.

Singers: Jamie Daniels, Bonnie Fultz, Sharon McClean and Deb Culver.

Burial will follow in the Hensley Cemetery with David Hensley, Frank Hensley, Jamie Daniels, Roy Long, Justin Hughes and Don Tullila serving as pallbearers.
