Darlys Faye Owenby

Darlys Brittain Owenby of Cumberland Gap, TN departed this earthly home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on February 6, 2011. She was of the Baptist Faith and a member of Shawanee Baptist Church. Darlys was born February 25, 1951. She was a loyal and trusted friend and very special to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mack and Louise Brittain. One brother Wendell Brittain, and Sister Monica Brittain, and Brother-in-law, Arthur McCurry.

She is survived by one Son : Aaron Owenby of Cumberland Gap, TN

Brothers and Spouses: Tommy and Rose Brittain of Davison, Michigan

Darrell and Barbara Brittain of Harrogate, TN

Sisters: Carolyn McCurry of Middlesboro, KY

Mary Lou Barnard of Shawanee, TN

Sisters and Spouses: Lisa & Tye Woods of Vance, Alabama

Debbie and Charlie Williams of Murfreesboro, TN

Several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Tuesday February 8, 2011 from 6 to 8 P.M. at Coffey Funeral Home in Harrogate. Funeral service will follow at 8 P.M. in the Chapel. Burial will be in the Scott Cemetery in Harrogate on Wednesday February 9, 2011 at 11:00 A.M..
