Ethel Arnold Estes, age 86, of the Little Sycamore Community passed away at home on June 14, 2026. She was saved at a young age and was a member of Pleasant View Missionary Baptist Church. She was born on September 17, 1939, the daughter of the late Jack and Alice Poore Arnold.
Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband and best friend of 61 years, Wayne; Brothers: Bud Arnold, Dewayne Arnold, twin brother Curt Arnold; Sister: Jackie Collingsworth.
She is survived by her daughter: Kim Meyers and husband Kenny of Knoxville, TN; Grandsons: Kendall Meyers of Vero Beach, FL and Korey Meyers and wife Ashton of New Tazewell, TN; Great Grandsons: Ben and Leland Meyers of New Tazewell, TN; Sister: Bernice Poore of New Tazewell, TN; Brother-in-law: Dennis Estes and wife Ann of Tazewell, TN; Several nieces, nephews, and her church family at Pleasant View.
The family will receive friends at Coffey Funeral Home in New Tazewell, TN on Thursday June 18, 2026 from 5 until 7 PM. Services will follow at 7 PM in the Coffey Funeral Home chapel. A graveside will be held on Friday June 19, 2026 at 11 AM in the Fairview Cemetery, New Tazewell, TN. Anyone who would like to go in procession please meet at Coffey Funeral Home between 10-10:30 AM.
