George Henry King

George Henry King of Mascot, TN was born April 15, 1941 and passed away April 12, 2014 at his home, with his family around him. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Anne Mae (Troutt) King; wife, Billie Jean (Daniels) King; sisters, Baby Elizabeth Ann, Doris Ruth Raley, Margaret Edmonds, Mary Ellen Edmonds; brothers: Leonard Eugene, Joe Willis (Bud), Paul Edward, Carl Rowland (Buster) King. He retired from Modine Manufacturing.

He is survived by his Sons: George (Allen) Ricky Lynn, Martin Dennis (Marty) King

Sister: Barbara Polley of Morristown, TN

Brothers: John Mathews, J. R. and wife Georgie King, Clinton (Sonny) and wife Violet King

Grandchildren: Courtney and Jon McCrary and Zachary King

Great Grandchildren: Cruz, Logan and Bella McCrary

Sisters-in-law: Fern and Billie King and Neva Eden

Special Girlfriend: Norma Jean Slagle of 21 years

Several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 P.M. Monday April 14, 2014 at Coffey Funeral Home in Tazewell with funeral service at 7:00 P.M. Monday night in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside service will be Tuesday April 15, on his birthday at Bingham Cemetery.
