Glen Daniel Moore

Glen Daniel Moore was born August 5, 1945 and took his heavenly flight February 4, 2026 at fort sanders regional medical center. While his family now mourns his loss, there is comfort in knowing that he has now joined his son whom has gone on before him.

Glen retired from England Furniture after a long 45 years. He put his work ethic to use in anything he done. He loved going to set up at the flea market on the weekends. When he wasn’t working or setting up there you could find him with a Diet Mtn dew in his hand watching his bird feeders outside his window.

He is preceded in death by his parents Mac Moore and Mary Elizabeth Shackleford. Also Son Steven D Moore.

He is survived by his sons Randy (Peggy) Moore, Danny Moore, Daughters Melissa Moore, and Tina Johnson. Grandchildren Coty Moore, Jamie (Charlie) Inman, Megan (Kevin) Nipper, Butch Moore, and Lylisha (Matt) Caruso. Great grandchildren Alyvia Nipper, Kambrie Nipper, Kayden Sponaugle, Raiden Sponaugle, Aubriella Inman, Matthew Caruso, Sophia Caruso, McKenzie Moore, Brantley Moore, and Gracelynn Moore.

The family would like to send a special thanks to Fort sanders regional hospital for their love and care during Glen's time there.

The family and friends will be meeting February 8th, 2026 at 1pm at the Coffey funeral home in New Tazewell. Then to follow to the resting place of Mr. Moore. There will be a small graveside service held in the old Harrogate cemetery.
