Harlen was a wonderful son, father, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be missed. It don't feel same without him, he was always happy. Every time someone called him instead of him saying hello he would always say yellow. I will miss and love you dad. R.I.P. Harlen Virgil Ferguson {dad}

Harlen was a great freind and co-worker. He was loved by everyone who met him and he had a heart of gold. I will never forget some of the silly sayings he had such as "Hello Fuzzy!" or when someone would call him on the phone and ask what he was doing, he would reply" setting here looking like this." I would always follow with, " thats strange, I was just setting here looking like that." He would always get a good laugh out of that. Rest in Peace my friend. I know you are with the lord and in no pain.

Harlen was our friend forever & always will be..Stanley & I loved having him over for dinner. And boy did he love my ruben sandwich's.I would make them just for him.This man had a heart of Gold.my sister goob has down syndrome and he really fell in love with her.He will be missed by all.!!! Love, Light, and healing Blessings to Harlen's family as they go through this difficult time. Harlen was a very sweet man. I only knew him for a short time,however, we became good friends.I will miss his smiling face every morning as he came though the store.he will surely be missed>

To the Harlen Ferguson family: I would consider Harlen to a good friend of mine. When Harlen attended Council Baptist Church in Charleston Tn. he was loved by everyone in the church, always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone and always happy with a big smile. Harlen was a very faithful church member. We the members of Council are praying for your family may you find peace and comfort in this sad time. But knowing Harlen and his life we know he is truly at peace with the Lord. Remembering each one in our prayers.

Harlen was a big teddy bear with a heart that was full of love for everyone, whether he knew you or not, and he will be greatly missed. Praying for the family that God will wrap his big arms around you all and give you the comfort, peace, and strength you need as you walk this rocky road. We love you all.

Words cannot express the saddness we feel after hearing of Harlen's passing. Harlen was a gentle giant with such a caring heart. He will never know the many lives he touched or the numerous friends he had who thought so much of him. 
There are no words that can bring true comfort at this time but we pray for God's peace, courage and comfort during this very difficult time.
