

Rev. Ira C. (R.C.) Dalton age 75 was born August 8, 1937 and departed this life June 12, 2013. He professed faith in Christ January 1949 at Oak Hill Missionary Baptist Church where he remained a faithful member. He was ordained into the gospel ministry October 28, 1967. He had pastored 10 churches. He was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Clora (Sis) Harville Dalton, son, Thurston W. Dalton, infant twins, Carl and Carolyn, parents, Simeon and Lula Dalton, 4 sisters, Cecil Dalton Coffey, Dorsia, Gladys, and Florence Dalton and brother, Enoch Dalton
He is survived by his Son: Rev. Terry C. Dalton and wife Mary Ann Dalton of Bean Station
Daughter: Teresa Lamb and husband Michael Lamb of Thorn Hill
Granddaughter: Erica L. Dalton of Bean Station
Brother: Berlie Dalton of Claiborne County
Several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 4 until 8 P.M. Friday June 14, 2013 at Coffey Funeral Home. Funeral service 11:00 A.M. Saturday June 15, 2013 at Oak Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Burial in the Coffey Cemetery.
