Jeremy Clayton Sexton

Jeremy Clayton Sexton, formerly of Tazewell, TN. was born on December 2, 1984 in Wise County, Va. He passed away October 9, 2013 in Kerrville, TX. He was preceded in death by his father, David Short of Tazewell, TN.; grandparents, Hoyt and Dorothy Short of Tazewell, TN. and Junior and Laurel Collins of Sneedville, TN. Jeremy was saved at an early age. He was a loving son, brother and father. Jeremy will be missed by all his family and friends.

Jeremy is survived by his mother, Theresa Short of Tazewell, TN.; daughters, Zoey and Kaydence formerly of Tazewell, TN; brothers, Travis Sexton of El Paso, TX., Jonathan and Brandy Sexton of Kerrville, TX. And Michael Short of Tazewell, TN; grandparents, Dorothy Hilton of Pennington Gap, Va and Deward Sexton of Sneedville, TN; niece, Theresa Faye Sexton and nephew, Mark Riley of Kerrville, TX. and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6-9pm Monday, Oct. 14, 2013 at Coffey Funeral Home in New Tazewell, TN. Funeral service will be held at 1:00PM Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013 at the Coffey Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Bobby Howard officiating. Singers will be the Bethel Church Choir. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery with Travis Sexton, Jonathan, Sexton, Michael Short, Josh Coffey, Dan Collins and Brandon Collins serving as pallbearers.
