Jessie Wayne Haynes age 74 of Tazewell, TN departed this life on February 16, 2019 at his home, to be a precious angel and wear his crown of glory. He was born July 1, 1944 to the late Ray and Marie Haynes of Harlan Co. KY. He married the love of his life Brenda Rice Haynes of Harlan KY on October 19, 1962, who preceded him in death on July 6, 2014. He is also preceded in death by two brothers Ricky Allen Haynes and Jack Haynes. Two sisters Della Haynes and Irene Haynes. Two grandchildren. Three great grandchildren. Jessie is survived by seven children Mildred Swanson (Rex Callebs), Margaret Haynes, Tammy Short, Fairanna (Danny) Epperson, Michael (Sharon) Haynes, Darlene Helton (Chris Ramsey), Johnny Burgans (Sue), and a nephew he loved like a son Jamie Haynes all of Tazewell, TN. Brothers Bob (Pat) Haynes of Rogersville, TN, Billy Ray (Vikki) Haynes of Evarts KY, and Jim (Theresa) Haynes of Cawood KY. Sisters Shirl (Henry) Naipier of Virginia and Betty Logan and the late Stanley Logan of Cawood KY. Eighteen grandchildren. Twenty-two great grandchildren. Two great grandchildren to be born this year. As well as a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing and his special caregiver Sissy who he wanted by his side daily, his special little buddy Jack his dog, special friend Alvie Johnson of Tazewell, TN, and a special thank you to Smoky Mountain Home Health.
The family will receive friends Tuesday February 19th from 6 until 8 P.M. at Coffey Funeral Home, with funeral service to follow at 8 P.M. in the Coffey Funeral Home chapel. The graveside service will be Wednesday February 20th at 11 A.M. in the Epperson Cemetery.
