Joann was born in Dearborn Heights, Michigan, where she lived with her parents and siblings her entire childhood. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She spent most her time crafting, cooking, and enjoying time with her family. She also attended Leatherwood Missionary Baptist church for over 30 years.
Joann was preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years, Harve Jones; her parents, Floyd and Florence Hubbard; brothers, Ray Hubbard, John (Darlene) Hubbard, and Danny Hubbard; sisters, Mary Ann Hubbard and Kim Fleeman.
She is survived by her children April Pugh, Cody (Jessica) Jones, Mike (Amber) Jones, Scott (Nikki) Jones, Joel Cross, Barry (Denise) Keely, Margie Cross Russell, and Lisa Jones; sisters, Judy (Waylon) Frasure and Lorrie Yeary; sister-in-law, Susie Hubbard; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews, and a life long friend Beverly Nash.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 27, 2026 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM with funeral to follow at 7:00 PM in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel in Tazewell. Burial will be on Friday, August 28, 2026 at 11:00 AM in the Hubbard Family Cemetery in Frakes, KY. Anyone wishing to follow in procession is asked to be at Coffey Funeral Home by 9:30 AM.
