John was 91 years old, born in 1927 to a family of 17 children in Saskatoon Canada. He was married to his wife Mary who he met in college in 1954. He was a licensed laboratory and x-ray technologist and worked in hospitals during his working years. John was a quiet man in an unassuming way. He was married to his loving wife Mary, a registered nurse, for 61 years. He and his wife had three children, Dr. Melvin Donesky, Dr. Myron Donesky, who are both dentists and a daughter Melinda Michelin who is a dental hygienist. Melvin had to have braces for his buck teeth which his mother states was the inspiration that led all three of the children into the dental field. After retiring John and Mary moved to the beautiful hills of Tennessee where they have lived for 20 years, enjoying their grandchildren and their garden. John passed away peacefully on September 28, 2018 in the early morning and now rests in the Lord. He is survived by his wife Mary, his three children and grandchildren, Megan, Ashley, Laura, Brook and Makayla. John will be missed by his family and faithful church members who all loved him deeply.
