Jordan Seth Blackburn age 34 of Tazewell, Tennessee was born on August 16th 1991 in Williamson, West Virginia and passed away peacefully at his home on July 26th 2026 after a brave and hard-fought battle with cancer.
Jordan is preceded in death by his father Johnny Wakeland, grandparent’s Jessie and Janet Blackburn, Grandfather Joe Maples, and stepfather Eddie Maples.
Jordan is survived by his mother Tressa Blackburn, sons Jessie and Blaise Blackburn, Jasper Lloyd, sister and brother-in-law Nikki and Ryan Leight, grandmother Della Maples, uncle Larry Blackburn, niece Macey Earl, fiancé Katlyn Lloyd, as well as several family and friends who loved and cherished Jordan.
Jordan graduated from Claiborne High School and enrolled in the Army soon after. He served his country for 4 years, earning a Purple Heart for his service in Iraq. Jordan was saved and recently joined Chadwell Station Baptist Church. Jordan was a joy to be around and to have him in our lives was a blessing. He loved his boys more than anything. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend. He will forever be remembered by those who loved him. Even though Jordan was with us for a short while, his memory will never be forgotten because of the lasting impact he had on those around him.
The family will receive friends on Friday July 31, 2026 from 6 until 9 PM at Coffey Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Saturday August 1, 2026 at 11 AM in the Coffey Funeral Home chapel. A graveside service will follow in Irish Memorial Gardens with military Honors.
