Joseph Chamblee

Mr. Joseph Alex “Joe” Chamblee age 86 of Harrogate, TN was born February 8, 1925 and passed away September 3, 2011 at University of Tennessee Hospital in Knoxville, TN. He was a member of Tazewell Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his wife Edith Rachel Chamblee; son Bobby Joe Chamblee and several brothers and sisters. He was a Veteran of World War II in the Army. He was a member of the United Mine Workers Union.

He is survived by his Special Niece: Connie James of Deer Lodge, TN

Special Niece and Nephew: Debbie and Roy Shelburne of Jonesville, VA

He is also survived by sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 P.M. Tuesday September 6, 2011 at Coffey Funeral Home in Tazewell with funeral service to follow at 8:00 P.M. Tuesday night in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel .

Burial in the Irish Memorial Gardens with Military Honors on Wednesday September 7, 2011 at 1:00 P.M.
