

Joseph Hugh Estes, born September 2nd 1943, the Lord called him home Thursday January 21st 2016, with his wife by his side. Hugh was always surrounded by the love of his family and church. He was saved by the Grace of God at an early age and was baptized in the creek at Pleasant View Baptist Church on a snowy day. He was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church and will be remembered singing “God on the Mountain”. He was an electrician, heat pump inspector, retired electrical inspector, but never stopped working doing something.

Great- Grandson: Jalen Harmon, born January 20th 2016.

He loved to hunt , fish, travel, farm, cook, work ,build things and garden, but most of all he loved being with family and friends and loved Pleasant View Church and our Lord Jesus Christ
The family will receive friends Monday January 25 from 4-7pm at the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel in New Tazewell. Funeral service will follow at 7pm, with burial in the Irish memorial garden.
