Joshua Allen Taylor

Josh enjoyed spending time outdoors; he liked to go fishing, hunting, and ginseng hunting. He worked with a host of his friends and loved ones at Duncan Lumber Truss Shop for many years.

He was preceded by his grandparents who he loved dearly; Ollie Marie Ayers and husband Tilmon, Ola Brooks and husband Johnny, and Mamaw Pearlie Taylor.

Josh is survived by his mom and dad Glenda and Joey Brooks. Sister Ida Brown and husband David. Brothers Jason Taylor and wife Cassie and Matthew Taylor and wife Sharon. Nieces Alexis Brown and Raven Taylor. Nephews Logan Brown, Joe Bryant, and Cody Bryant. His beloved companion, his Bubby Spud. As well as a host of friends and family.

There will be a graveside service on Sunday January 11, 2026 at 3:00 in the Brooks Cemetery, near 4058 Powell River Rd Tazewell TN 37879.
