I found out that Justin passed away through Ancestry.com as I built a family tree with him and Dianna on it.  I am Justin's oldest cousin on his paternal side thorough his Aunt Patricia Gundrum Rogne (1940-2013).  We lost touch with Justin and family in the 1970's, but we never forgot about him, his sister Kendra and mother Dianna even though I only met them once in Oregon.  Our Uncle Jim Hunt was Justin's biological father and we could never find him either and I only saw him twice in my life.  However,  close friends of Uncle Jim's in Oregon found paperwork that I sent him for both Uncle Jim and Justin to join our Native American tribe after it was federally restored in 2000, that he apparently kept and Tabitha found me on Facebook and notified us that Uncle Jim passed away on November 14, 2017 from cancer.  
Justin sounds like a wonderful person and our condolences to all his family and friends, especially losing him so young.  May he rest in peace and reunite with all of his family in heaven.  I have attached an old photo of Justin's biological father (far left), aunts & uncle when they were children.

I met Judd in 1993. I was just a young punk kid who wanted to be a drummer. I couldn't wait to grow up,so I gravitated  toward the older musician crowd. One day there is a knock on my moms front door. I opened it and there Judd stood. He had long hair at the time. I thought he was the ugliest girl I had ever seen. At first. Anyway we had a lot of fun that summer. He taught me   a lot about music,life,and most of all friendship.  I miss you man.  I know I'll see you again...

I actually didn't know Justin that well but I know he could play the guitar and sing.  My brother Jeffery Honchell loved him and he will be missed.  His sister Moriah is my niece and I think I met Justin at least three times.  Rest In Peace and Justin.  Sing for the angels.

I was in the class of 1992 with Justin.  I always remember him being a very kind person with a great smile.  I am praying for peace and comfort for his loved ones today and for all the days ahead.

Judd, you will truly be missed. I will always remember the days of our high school years and listening to your voice singing. God is just getting his heavenly choir together. Take your rest now and go rest high on the mountain. Until we all meet again.

Judd was an amazing person and talented musician.  He always had a smile and  kind words to say.  He always called us his " London girls".  He will be truly missed.  My prayers go out to his friends and family.  Turn to Jesus to comfort you in this time of loss.
