Katie Elizabeth Johnson

Katie Elizabeth Johnson was born September 18, 1992 and went home to be with the Lord March 31, 2012. Katie accepted Christ as her Savior March 22, 2009 and regularly attended Raven Hill Baptist Church. She was currently attending Walter’s State Community College in Morristown, Tennessee working toward her degree as a Health Dietician. She was employed at Stanifer Drugs in New Tazewell.

Katie was preceded in death by her two grandmothers, Bonnie Lanham of Tazewell, Tennessee and Nell Thomas of Tazewell, Tennessee and her grandfather Wiley Johnson of Harrogate, Tennessee.

She is survived by her mother: Cynthia Johnson Jarnigan and step-father Bobby of Tazewell, TN

Father: Jimmy Johnson of Harrogate, TN

Sister: Amanda Johnson of Harrogate, Tennessee

Grandfather: Wayne Thomas of New Tazewell, TN

Aunts and Uncles: Barry and Debbie Thomas

The family will receive friends Thursday April 5, 2012 beginning at 5:00 P.M. at Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service 2:00 P.M. Friday April 6, 2012 in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial in the Greer Cemetery in Claiborne County, TN
