Kenneth "Satch" "Satch" Duncan

Kenneth Maynard (Satch) Duncan age 81 of Tazewell, TN was born May 21, 1935 and passed away peacefully March 27, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Thelma (Baldwin) Duncan; brothers, Randy Duncan and David Duncan; sister, Barbara Chittum. He was a member of First Baptist Church of New Tazewell where he currently served in the Food Pantry Ministry. He served 3 years in the Army. He retired from RAJA Stone. He was a loving and devoted Papaw. He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 60 years: Georgia (Cline) Duncan; Daughter & Son-in-law: Kammie Duncan (John) Hames; Son: Kent Duncan and Deidra Standifer Duncan; Granddaughters: Kendra and Elisa Duncan; Grandson: Wriley Duncan Sturgill and several other family members and friends. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the First Baptist Church of New Tazewell Food Pantry Ministry, P.O. Box # 248, New Tazewell, TN 37824, where he faithfully served and ministered to community families in need of help. The family will receive friends from 4 until 7 P.M. Friday March 31, 2017 at First Baptist Church of New Tazewell with funeral service to follow at 7:00 P.M. Burial at 11:00 A.M. Saturday April 1, 2017 in the Baldwin-Duncan Cemetery.
