Kenneth Welch

Kenneth Welch, age 82, of Tazewell TN, was born May 25, 1934 and passed away on February 16, 2017 at home surrounded by his family and friends. Kenneth was a member of Midway Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and wood working. Kenneth was a gardener and extremely proud of his 32 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Curtis and Delta Welch; sister Billie Jean Ramsey and great grandson Caleb Killen.

He is survived by his children: Don (Sandra) Welch, Tim (Jennifer) Welch, Celia (Todd) Henry all of Columbus, OH; Jeff (Kathy) Welch of New Tazewell, TN; Kurtis Welch of Knoxville, TN; Cindi (Bob) Killen of Malabar, FL.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Kathy Welch and Johnny Ramsey.

The family will receive friends Sunday February 19th from 6 until 8 P.M. at Coffey Funeral Home in New Tazewell. The funeral will be Monday February 20th at 11 A.M. in the Coffey Funeral Home chapel. Burial will follow in the Old Irish Cemetery.
