

Mandalyn Johnson Noe was born August 31, 1956 in a little log cabin on Raven’s Ridge to the late Andy and Faye Johnson. After receiving a diagnosis of Pancreatic Cancer on March 29, 2016 she fought a miraculous battle for 6 months and 2 days but lost that battle at her home in New Tazewell on October 1, 2016 at 4:36 am, but only to receive a much greater gift of eternal life with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Mandalyn professed her life to Christ at an early age while attending Bible camp at Camp TaPaWinGo. She attended church at Raven Hill Baptist Church as a young girl, in her young adult life she attended New Tazewell United Methodist Church, and later became a member of Tazewell Baptist Church Mandalyn was preceded in death by her parents, Andy and Faye Johnson and half-sister Delta Parker. Mandalyn has always been very active in her community with everything from youth groups to business leaders. She worked in the past with the GIA group of Tazewell Baptist Church, to singer in the choir, and teaching vacation Bible School. She previously worked as chairman of fund raising for St. Jude’s in Claiborne County, to being publicity chairman of the PTO while her daughter was in elementary school, and once Treasurer of the New Tazewell Merchants Association. Mandalyn started working as a cosmetologist in 1971 for Mary Lou Venable in Tazewell, TN, then at Kay’s Beauty Shop in 1972, and later bought the business in the late 80s, and worked until April 2016. Mandalyn started doing hair and makeup for beauty pageants in 1986 and traveled to many locations all the way from Orlando, Florida to Pheniox, Arizona. She was also a fabulous seamstress and had a love for crafts that was unimaginable. But, she had no greater love than her involvement with youth sports, from coaching little league softball and baseball, coaching travel softball, to coaching Jr. Pro basketball and Upward Bound basketball, to being Secretary-Treasure, vice-President, and President of the New Tazewell Little League. Married at a young age, Mandalyn 16 and Donnie 19, she leaves behind a devoted husband of 43 years, Donnie Noe; Daughter Aftan (Brock) Buis and his children Noah and Brooklyn Buis; Her Granddaughter, her reason for living, London Noe; brother: Sisle (Sue) Johnson; Brothers-in-law Jeff (Nancy) Noe and Rick (Joette) Noe; niece Christine Martin and nephew Gage Noe.
Devoted friend, until her last days, of 20 years Debbie Bishop; her daily protector, for the last 7 months,her 13 year old Chihuahua Tido. And numerous friends and extended family members.

The family will receive friends from 4 until 8 P.M. Monday October 3, 2016 at Coffey Funeral Home in Tazewell, TN. Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday October 4, 2015 in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial in the Fairview Cemetery.
