One of Mark's favorite pastimes was fishing, despite the fact that he did not actually like fish, but that just meant he had more fish to give to his family. He also belonged to a band and loved to play music with them, he and his son Cameron wrote a song together and even though it didn't get a name it is still a precious memory for them. His favorite musical genre was classic rock, he listened to 103.5 anytime he was driving. Mark was the type of person who wanted to help everyone he could, including anyone who came to the store he worked at and those who just needed help with odd jobs. When he was younger Mark's desire to help others led him to serve in the NAVY from 1980 -1990 where he was an Ordinance Personnel aboard the aircraft carriers USS America, USS Independence and USS Ranger. When Mark worked in the flower shop he would make special arrangements for the customers, he wanted to make sure their flowers made them smile. He enjoyed grilling and going to his children's sporting events. His favorite football team were the Steelers and if he was watching NASCAR he was rooting for Dale Earnhardt Jr or John Force. The most important thing in Mark's life was his family. He loved them all dearly and they loved him. He will forever be missed by everyone who knew him.
