Mary Ellen Reed

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Mary Ellen Reed age 83 of Thorn Hill, went to be with the Lord on Saturday March 19th, 2011 at Morristown Hamblen Hospital. She was a member of Old Mountain View Independent Freewill Baptist Church. She was saved at the age of 11 and served the Lord for the rest of her days. She was loved by all and will be missed by all that knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin “Meb” and Nora Williams; brother Kyle Williams; husband Roy Jesse Reed; sons Danny Melvin and Kyle Douglas Reed.

She is survived by her sons: Charles and Linda Reed of Sevierville, TN

Billy and Mary Lou Reed of Taylor MI

Larry and Rita Reed of Morristown, TN

Jerry Reed of the Home Thorn Hill, TN

Daughters: Kathy Bonovitch of Thorn Hill, TN

The family will receive friends Monday and Tuesday March 21st and 22nd from 6-8pm at the Coffey Funeral Home in New Tazewell. Funeral service will be Wednesday March 23 at 2:00pm in the Coffey Funeral Home chapel in Tazewell , burial in the Pearson Turner cemetery.
