Nellie "Nell" Roberta Cinniamon

Nellie Roberta Cinniamon age 77, of Tazewell, TN was born on May 9, 1947 and passed away on March 2, 2025, at Tri State Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family. Nellie professed her faith in Christ and was saved at a young age. Nellie was loved by so many and especially the nurses and residents at Tri State. Her favorite thing to do was fish, she would sit on the riverbank for hours, with a bucket of worms and a fishing pole.

Nell never met a stranger, and she spoke to everyone she came across whether she knew them or not. She loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and will be deeply missed.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Grace Estes Long, her father, Bob Long, her infant son, Steven Wayne Cinniamon. Sisters, Leota Marshall, LulaMae Hopkins, JoAnn Smith. Brothers, Charlie Long and Chester Long.

She is survived by her son, Rick (Tina) Poore, her daughter, Phyllis (Chris) Good, her son, Randall (Jessica) Poore. Her grandchildren, Justin Poore, CJ (Ginger) Bolden, Alyssa (Gary) Brown, Kayla (Jacob) Walker, Tyler (Savannah) Poore, Nicole (BJ Hensley) Poore, Ethan (Haven) Poore, Evan Poore, Landen Poore, Ella Poore. Great-grandchildren, Cash Bolden, Taylin Warner, Portlyn Walker, Major Liles, Parlyn Walker, Lyric Brown, Parklyn Walker, and Wyatt Poore. Special friend Charlotte Good and her best pal, Roger the bear. Siblings, Tip (Relda) Long, Opal Ferguson, Estel (Alice) Long, Carolyn Mullins, Gary (Gail) Long, Jane (Roger) Shockley and sister-in-law, Hazel Long. Husband Kenneth Cinniamon.

The family would like to give special thanks to the nurses and staff at Tri State for their wonderful care of Nell and SunCrest Hospice.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday March 4, 2025 from 2 until 3:30 PM at Coffey Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 3:30 PM in the Coffey Funeral Home chapel. A graveside service will follow in the Cave Springs Cemetery.
