Pauline retired from Washington Hilton and Towers Convention Sales, in Washington, DC where she lived for over 40 years.
Pauline was known for her strong will, independence, determination and love of family. She loved the outdoors, being with family, especially at Christmas, vacationing at the beach, and trying out all nationalities of restaurants.
She is preceded in death by her father Elbert Ford, mother Lillian Richmond Ford, and brother Elbert Alvin Ford.
Pauline is survived by her sisters Willa Dean Gilbert and Evyleen "Eve" Zaboji. Sister-in-law Christine Hamlin Ford. Nephews Bradley (Rena) Gilbert, Michael (Nikki) Gilbert and James E. Gilbert. Nieces Deana (Steve) Cheatword and Diane (Gary) Harlow. As well as many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
The family would like to give special thanks for the excellent care given by the staff at Claiborne Health and Rehabilitation Center. Especially Karen McIntosh, who went out of her way to show kindness and care to Pauline.
The family will receive friends on Monday February 24, 2025 from 6 until 8 PM at Coffey Funeral Home. The graveside service will be on Tuesday February 25, 2025 at 2 PM in Fairview Cemetery.
Rev. Roger Hansard will officiate.
