Polly Napier

Polly was born to the late Willie and Janie Hensley Napier of Verda, KY, on August 3, 1943. Polly loved everyone she met and felt that everyone should be greeted with a hug. Christmas was her favorite holiday. She would begin asking in August, "How much longer till Christmas?"

Waiting to greet her in Gloryland are her mother and father, her brother, Joe Napier. Also there to meet her are her four sisters, Ellen Sheckell, Martha Hensley, Margaret Stewart, and Fannie King.

Left to mourn her passing are her special nieces, Rose Napier (Dwight), Jennifer (Richard) McCampbell, and Dorothy Atkins. Her special nephews, Johnathan Todd King (Sarah), Steve Napier, and James King (Angie). Her brother-in-law, John King. Great nephews and nieces: Andrew McCampbell, Alexander McCampbell, Annalise Roach, Annaka Roach, and Addalbug King. Her special friend, Lucy Harris, as well as a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A special thank you to her niece and nephew, Rose and Steve, for always taking care of her. Also, a special thank you to Sheena, Charlotte, Angelica, and Kayla, as well as the staff at UT Hospice.

The family will have a graveside service on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at 1:00 PM at the King Family Cemetery. The family asks that anyone attending meet at the cemetery.
