She was a devout Christian and was filled with the power of the Holy Ghost. She was not ashamed of her faith in Jesus or sharing the Gospel. Her legacy of unconditional love is forever etched upon those who ever encountered her. Her sweet smile would light up any room. She had joyous personality that preceded her wherever she was. The laugh she possessed was contagious. She was a member of Hoop Creek Baptist Church, but attended many churches throughout her life. In her 40+ year career as a Nurse she worked at Claiborne Medical Center, Covenant Home Health & Hospice and other private duty companies. She was a proud 19 year cancer survivor who Never gave up the fight.
She is preceded in death by Husband Randall Gregory, Parents James and Lucy Fugate. Brothers James Dennis Fugate, Calvin Fugate and David Fugate.
She is survived by her daughter and step-children, Leoma Gregory of Tazewell T.N, Ricky Gregory of Knoxville, T.N, Terry (Patrick) Tucker of Knoxville, T.N, Katherine Penson of Knoxville, T.N. sisters and brother-in- laws Darlene Myers of Tazewell, T.N., Lena (Carl) Thompson of Hampton, G.A., Roberta Cloud, Dorothy Snodgrass and Jeff Snodgrass of Tazewell, T.N., Sister-in law Lois (Erskin) Witherspoon of Middlesboro, K.Y. Special granddaughter Brielle Jones along with a host of grandchildren great grandchildren, and great great grandchild. Nieces Kristina Ford of Tazewell, T.N., Karen (Jason) Mabe of Tazewell, T.N., Caitlin Fugate of Tazewell, T.N. and Lakisha (Kenneth) Obukowho of Lexington, K.Y. along with other aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends Monday August 8, 2022 from 12 until 2 PM at Coffey Funeral Home in New Tazewell. The funeral service will be at 2 PM in the Coffey Funeral Home chapel. A graveside service will follow in the Fugate Cemetery.
