Ruby Ann Cooper

Ruby Ann Cooper, age 67, of Tazewell, TN. was born Nov. 19, 1947 and passed away on Oct. 30, 2015 at Claiborne County Hospital. She was a member of Dogwood Heights Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Letcher County High School. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Mabel Wright of Whitesburg, Ky.; brothers, Paul and James Wright. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Kenneth Cooper of Tazewell, TN; children, Kenneth Paul Cooper, Jeff (Misty) Cooper all of Tazewell, TN, Alan (Tina) Cooper of New Tazewell, TN, Mike (Samantha) Cooper and Jamie (Brad) Shockley of Tazewell, TN.; grandchildren, Kasey, Adrian, Joseph, Amanda, Katlyn, Jessie, Jacob, Mahala, Alex and Valoree; great grandchildren, Jaxxon, Mason, Olivia, Noah and Jordan; sisters, Betty Meade and Sharon (Raymond) Roberts; brothers, Wayne Wright and Doyle Wright all of Whitesburg, Ky.; and a host of nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 4-7PM Monday, Nov. 2, 2015 at Dogwood Heights Baptist Church with funeral service to follow at 7:00PM at Dogwood Heights Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Duncan and Rev. Richard Minton officiating. Singers will be David Honeycutt and David Painter. Graveside service will be held at 1:00PM Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2015 at the Irish Memorial Garden.
