Ruby Harrell, age 79, of Tazewell, TN was born August 22, 1941 and passed away on December 16, 2020. Ruby was a long time member of First Baptist Church of New Tazewell, where she proudly sang in the choir. She was an ophthalmology assistant for James P. Crutchfield for 29 years. Ruby was a very proud mother and grandmother, she loved her family dearly. She was the rock of her family and will be remembered for her strength and strong will. She will be greatly missed. Ruby was preceded in death by her mother Evangeline Fultz. The love of her life Dale Harrell. As well as other family members. She is survived by her children Dale Harrell II and wife Carlene, Mary Hayes and husband James. She is survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; as well as a host of other family members, and friends.
The family will receive friends Thursday December 17th from 4 until 6 PM at Coffey Funeral Home. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
