Tracy Lynn Wells

Tracy was saved at an early age and was a faithful member of Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. She loved cats, especially Gibson and Pippa. She enjoyed spending time in the kitchen, cooking or baking. Tracy was a loving wife and mother and was deeply devoted to her family.

Tracy was preceded in death by her mother, Daisy Short; grandparents, Hoyt and Dorothy Short, and Elmer and Maude Widner; father-in-law, Hollis Wells; aunts, Imogene Cupp, Paulene Keller and Lorene Ford; uncles, Dale and David Short.

Tracy is survived by her loving husband of over 24 years, Dennis Wells; son, Riley Wells and girlfriend Meagan Cox; father, Frank Short; mother-in-law, Ozina Wells; as well as a host of other family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at Coffey Funeral Home in New Tazewell from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM with funeral service to follow in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will be on Thursday, October 30, 2025, in the Fairview Cemetery at 1:00 PM. Anyone wishing to follow in procession is asked to be at the funeral home by 12:30 PM.
