Troy Edison Goins

Mr. Troy Edison Goins age 72 of Tazewell, TN was born January 23, 1940 and passed away January 22, 2013. He accepted Christ at age 12 years at Goins Chapel Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany He married the love of his life, Doris Clark on December 25, 1959. He was a member of the VFW. Troy and Doris attended Dogwood Heights Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his Father and Mother, Charles Clifton and Alta (Poore) Goins; Granddaughter, Sara Elizabeth Ogle and Brother-in-law, J.C. Robertson.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years: Doris Clark Goins of Tazewell, TN

The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 P.M. Wednesday January 23, 2013 at Coffey Funeral Home in Tazewell with funeral service to follow at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday night in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside service at 11:00 A.M. Thursday January 24, 2013 at Moody Cemetery.
