Vickie Lynn Hall

Vickie was born June 26, 1958, in Monroe, MI to the late Robert F. Woods and Mary Cleo Duncan Woods Hensley. Vickie was a member of Arthur’s Chapel Holiness Church. She loved the Lord, her family, and reading. She was not afraid of a hard day’s work. She made sure her family had what they needed after working long hours in a factory. She was a strong woman and will be greatly missed.

Vickie comes from a large family with nine siblings. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by: sister Tina and brother-in-law Chuck Ramsey of Monroe, MI; brother Fred and sister-in-law Aline Woods; of Monroe, MI; and three additional brothers-in-law, Ray Golden of Basin, WY, Dwayne Long of Rose Hill, VA, and David Brooks of Harrogate, TN.

Vickie is survived by: devoted daughter, Tiffany Hall of Rose Hill, VA; loving granddaughter Kassie Bull of New Tazewell, TN; brother Bill (Theressa) Woods of Rose Hill, VA; six sisters Ruth Golden of Basin, WY; Shirley (Bob) Todd of Monroe, MI; Barbara (Patrick) Russell of Elgin, SC; Mary Long of Rose Hill, VA; Loma Brooks of Harrogate, TN; Marcy Williams of Harrogate, TN and a host of nieces and nephews.

Coffey Funeral Home in New Tazewell, TN will be handling the cremation. A private viewing for the family will take place on January 14, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. A memorial service to celebrate Vickie’s life will be held at Arthur’s Chapel Holiness Church, Mountain Springs, Rose Hill, VA, on January 18, 2025. Visitation will be from 12:00-1:00 p.m. Service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Stephen Vaughn reading the obituary, music by Arthur’s Chapel Holiness Church singers, and Reverend Richard Long presiding. With regards to our religious beliefs, we respectfully ask that women wear dresses or skirts and men wear pants while attending visitation and services.
