Void was born in Tazewell, TN on August 30, 1939. He was the son of the late Willard and Irene Arnold Hansard.
Void was a graduate of Bellevue High School in Bellevue Ohio.
Void was in the US Marines from 2/19/1959 to 2/18/1963.
Void returned to Ohio and worked at Sandusky Crushed Stone and White Trucks Co. After moving to TN he worked at Coffey Funeral Home for several years.
Void accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Pump Springs Baptist Church in Harrogate. Void loved to sing, his joy of music was with him each and every day and he always had a song in his mind and on his heart. He loved traveling and went on many mission trips. Void had never met a stranger and no matter where he was he could make friends. In his spare time he liked going to flea market, knife trading and singings with his daughter.
Void is survived by his wife Eva Hansard. Daughter Princetta (Dennis) Farmer. Grandson Tyler (Shelly) Farmer. Granddaughter Taylor Farmer. Great granddaughter Holly Farmer. Step-Children Jerry (Ruth) Walker, Carolyn Lowery and Dan Zerick. Step-Granddaughter Lacey (Carl) Collins. Step-Great Grandchildren Kendra Patton, Jacob Collins, and Jackson Collins; Brothers Doyle and wife Phyllis Hansard; Ronald Hansard; Mike and wife Nancy Hansard; Dean and wife Mary Frances Hansard and many nieces and nephews.
Void is preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Wilma L. Pierce, Glenda and Georgia Hansard.
The family will receive friends Friday October 27, 2023 from 5 until 8 PM at Coffey Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Saturday October 28, 2023 at 10 AM in the Coffey Funeral Home chapel. A graveside service will follow in the Moody Cemetery in Tazewell with military honors.
