Wanda Vestal Hensley

Wanda L. (Hood) Vestal Hensley, 74, of West Lafayette, IN, died at 3:16 AM Friday, December 11, 2015 at St. Elizabeth East. She was born July 17, 1941, in Beans Fork, KY, to the late Emmett and Opal Johnson Hood. Wanda married Ernest Vestal in 1959. He preceded her in death in 1994. Later in life, she married Bill Hensley who also preceded her in death. She worked at National Homes for a number of years and was a home health aid for Home Hospital. Wanda enjoyed bowling, TV game shows, yard sales and mostly time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers Clarence and Joe Hood and sister Rene Turner

Surviving are Sons: Jerry Vestal (wife Kim), David Vestal (wife Nancy), Tim Vestal (wife Jennifer), Daughter, Teresa Faye Vestal VanderHoff

Grandchildren, Nikki Bottoms (Husband Brian), Layne Vestal (Wife Brittany), Kaylee Morrow (Husband Chase), Kelsey Hall (Husband Evan), Aireka VanderHoff, Alexis Vestal, Nathan Vestal, Macie Vestal, Jessie Vestal

great Grandchildren, Natalee Vestal, Harper Vestal, Lyam VanderHoff, Oakleigh Hall, Payton Morrow, Emma Scott

Siblings: Dottie Shelton, Donna Smith (Husband Wade), Paulette Massengill, Lena Runles (Husband Bob), Bill Hood (Wife Barb), Janie Smitty (Husband Homer), Karen Davis (Husband Kenny), Sue Carroll (Husband Paul).

Visitation will be 12-2 PM, Wednesday December 16, 2015 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd., Lafayette, In, 47909. Funeral service will be Friday, December 18, 2015, at 1:00 PM at Coffey Funeral Home, Tazewell, TN, with visitation two hours prior to the funeral.
