

Wanda Fay Steadman age 66 of Knoxville, TN formerly of New Tazewell was born March 27, 1947 and passed away on September 15, 2013 at Tennova North Hospital in Knoxville. She was saved at an early age and was a member of Duncan Chapel Baptist Church. She worked as a registered nurse for over 30 years in Claiborne, Anderson and Knox Counties. She was a Breast Cancer survivor for eight years and was a strong advocate of Best Cancer Awareness and participated in the Knoxville Race for the Cure for many years. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Lonnie and Jean Steadman; Sister Maxie Steadman Turner.
She is survived by her Sister and Brother-in-law: Mary and Charlie Widner

Sister: Nancy Steadman all of New Tazewell
Nephews: Dale, Greg and Chris Widner of New Tazewell
Niece: Desiree Hill of Arthur, TN
Nine great Nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Special Friends: “Lou” , Scottie, Jeannie, Nancy, Fay, Martha, Dianna, Debbie who stood faithfully by her side during her illness.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 P.M. Wednesday night at Coffey Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 8:00 P.M. Wednesday night in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial at 10:00 A.M. Thursday morning in the Duncan/Baldwin Cemetery.
