Warren Barton

Mr. Warren Wilder “Red” Barton age 85 of Knoxville, TN was born June 17, 1925 and passed away August 4, 2010 at the University of Tennessee Hospital. He was a member of Westside Baptist Church in Knoxville. He was a World War II Veteran. He was retired from UT Steam Plant where he had worked for over 20 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Taylor and Ollie Barton; brothers, Ted Bledson & Fred Barton and John Hill.

He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years: Irene Pace Barton

Son: Curtis Barton all of Knoxville, TN

Daughter: Debora (Kenny) Ward of Dandridge

Grandchildren: Theresa Johansen, Randy Barton, Chelsea Bryant

Great Grandchildren: Haley , Seth and Miranda

Sister: Elsie Pebble Blair of Shelbyville, Ky

and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 P.M. Saturday August 7, 2010 at the Coffey Funeral Home in Tazewell with funeral service to follow at 7:00 P.M. Saturday night in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial at 10:00 A.M. Sunday in the Pace Cemetery.
