William Christopher Martin

William Christopher Martin, age 76, of Tazewell, was born February 14, 1950, and passed away on September 9, 2026, at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. Bill graduated from Claiborne County High School in 1968 and was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Astor and Gladys Martin, and brother, Ronnie Martin.

Bill is survived by his daughter, Tiffany and husband Keith Davis; sons, Joey Greene, Dean and wife Shelli Martin, Nelson and wife Maureen Martin; grandchildren, Austin Greene, Riley Frazier, and Ashleigh Martin; great-grandchildren, Knox Dean Martin and Nelson Hugh Martin; sisters, Sandra and husband Bill Harris, Sherry and husband Gary Lewis; special cousin, John Sharp, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

There will be a graveside service on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at 2:00 PM in the Martin Cemetery. Anyone wishing to follow in procession is asked to be at Coffey Funeral Home in Tazewell by 1:15 PM.
