Woodrow Hurst

Woodrow W. Hurst, born March 4, 1947, went home to be with the Lord in the presence of family and friends. He was a member of Duck Creek Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Louise (Sis) Hurst; sisters, Jewel Hurst Bolden, Janice Hurst Ward; brothers, Jimmy Ramsey and Kyle Hurst. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Judy Bolden Hurst; daughter, Lisa and Gary Greene of Whitesburg, Tn.; sons, Keith and Carolyn Hurst of Sevierville, Tn., James and Crystal Hurst of Tazewell, Tn.; grandkids, Jacob, Jason, Cole and Gage Hurst; sisters, Brenda Johnson of Tazewell, Tn., Phyllis Lovin and Kathy Decker of Middlesboro, Ky. and a host of other relatives and friends.

Family will receive friends 6-8PM Sunday, Dec. 19, 2010 at Coffey Funeral Home in New Tazewell. Funeral service will be at 2:00PM Monday, Dec. 20, 2010 at Coffey Funeral Home with Rev. Kester Bunch and Rev. Terry Bunch. Singers will be Mitchell Holt and trio. Burial to follow in the family cemetery with Scott Bolden, Eric Greene, Joe Collins, Bruce Roberts, Jamie Bolden and David McBee serving as active pallbearers and honorary pallbearers being Harold, Carson and Joe Bolden and Jacob, Jason, Cole and Gage Hurst.
