Dearest May, Meghan and family. Alan was and is an inspirational light on earth and now in heaven. There are several incidents that come to mind. The first time I met him I was moved by his humility, and his passion for fishing. I was transported by his words and wished I could tag along in his tackle box. In subsequent discussions he always had time for me and glowed when he spoke of you and Meghan. I appreciate that he was present when listening or speaking. Please know that we are here for you at any time. With much affection. Loretta, Cameron and Juliana
