

Alex loved NY and lived in the upper east side of Manhattan his entire adult life where many referred to him as the ‘Mayor of Yorkville’. Alex quickly became a prominent figure in the local hospitality business where he became a favorite bartender, and friend, to countless patrons at some of the city’s most famous restaurants like Elaine’s and Rathbones. His loved to tell jokes and make people laugh with his witty sense of humor and charisma. He was the life of the party.
He was also a successful entrepreneur and proud small business owner of several small businesses including his namesake “Alex’s MVP” where he was able to share his passion for sports memorabilia and collectibles with the world.
Alex is survived by his loving wife, Stephanie, of nearly 40 years. He will be forever missed.
A memorial service is being planned to occur in a few weeks. Please check back on this site for details as they get announced.
