Andre will be remembered for his warmth, his unique style, and his great love of New York City and Wainscott, NY. A true New Yorker, he took full advantage of the art, music, and theater of the city he loved. He also adored the Hamptons where he spent many happy hours in his garden and playing tennis as a founding member of the East Hampton Tennis Club. Nothing made him happier than spending time with his three grandchildren, Ethan, Oliver, and Zoe Wolin. He is survived by them, by his beloved daughter Nicole Elkon and his son-in-law Neal Wolin, and by his niece, Natasha Elkon, her husband, Francois-Xavier de Mallmann, and their children. Andre served as a Director and financial advisor at Oppenheimer, the brokerage and investment bank, until his death. He will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by many. A memorial service is planned for July 1, 2021 at 11:30am at Riverside Memorial Chapel in New York. Donations in his memory may be made to multiple myeloma research efforts at Mount Sinai. http://giving.mountsinai.org/multiplemyeloma, or to the Central Park Conservancy. https://secure.centralparknyc.org
