Barry Lynn Kidd Jr.

January 4th, 1975 – July 22nd, 2020

Barry is survived by his father Barry Lynn Kidd Sr., his stepmother Kimberly Kidd, his sister Trina Masson and her husband Joe, his stepsister Stacy Williams and her husband John, his stepbrother Joseph Turner, stepbrother Travis Turner and his wife Jami. Barry Jr’s family loved him deeply and he will be greatly missed.

Barry Jr. was a graduate of the University of North Carolina with a Bachelor in Science and a Bachelor of Arts. He was a black belt competitor and championship winner. He had a passion for world travel and a love for music. Barry Jr. treasured family and friends. He took pride in challenging himself physically and intellectually.

Let Me Tell You About My Son…

Intelligent, witty, charming, hilarious, and brave. Barry Jr. was all of this and much more. In 3rd grade his teacher kept him separate as he completed his work so fast and would disrupt his classmates. The restaurant business allowed Barry Jr. to shine as a personable man with humor and the tips poured in. Barry enjoyed pulling a good prank on everyone he loved, and he would not allow you to forget it! Barry was tenderhearted and hid it well from many. He lived to try new things and to prove he could do it. He kept photos of every family member and friend he ever had. He was bold, fearless, confident, and he loved dogs!

He was my beloved son, and now he is in the arms of Christ his Savior.
