The pain and trauma Mr Bergman went through is, I believe, really unfathomable to anyone who's not experienced anything like it, such that when I think of what I've liked to have said to him - just having heard Shoah Foundation's interview describing his experiences [on YouTube] - I'm struck by the terribleness of the fact that to do so could only be very trite given his experiences/fight-to-survive - psychologically as well as physically.  
But for what it's worth, to his family - his wife (obviously an extraordinarily giving and caring person  [bless you], as he said, "a true Godsend" to a terribly wounded person), his daughters, their children - I'd like to say that as a longtime student of history, including extensive study of the Holocaust, I have watched literally hundreds of 'survivors' speak of their experiences during that event, but still I learned a great deal more listening to his account than I'd managed to know of beforehand. Thus I'm saying that his [at last and obviously very painful] publicaly sharing of his experiences is invaluable; his story/experiences unique, his recollections insightful, details provided unusual, thus a valuable contribution regarding a better understanding of  'what all occurred' during that horrific time/event.  My wish would have been that 'his talk' could have occurred earlier and that he might have been one of those 'survivors' who was coaxed into speaking before audiences (youths [and others] ) in order that he could have EXPERIENCED their interest, their rapt attention, their pain and sorry upon hearing his story, and 'receiving back'  - as regularly has occurred in these cases - their wishes to hug him, expression of their tearful compassion. These events, repeatedly over enough time, I've learned has indeed helped a number of 'survivors'  heal. For example some have spoken before present-day German youths and received the above-mentioned (while some are too overcome by shock/horror/guilt [by association]).

I have just watched his video on youtube USC Shoah foundation and feel like the world has lost a beautiful soul.

I believe I received a notification about Brian because I had been profoundly moved by his testimony to the Shoah Foundation and had expressed my admiration for him (and the other survivors) because of their courage and fortitude. As someone whose family played a small, initial part in the possibility of Israel, I just wanted to express my sadness at his passing but also to tell his survivors that I regularly tell my children about what people like Brian endured and  that we must never allow this evil to happen again. When I have grandchildren, I will do the same. We must never forget and we all owe it to people like Brian to ensure we keep telling the new generations to be ultra vigilant. At the end of the interview when the wonderful Mr. Bergman asked if anyone cared? Oh my, I care so much more than he could imagine. My heart broke throughout the interview, and how people could treat a another sector of people so cruelly sickens me. Your story will live on Mr. Bergman. I only wish you were still here so I could tell you so.  

A truly special and outstanding gentleman. I have just watched his testimony and feel love, awe, respect and admiration for him. A first class human being. God rest his soul.

Just finished watching Brian's testimony which was very interesting! I wish we could've met in person during his lifetime!

I am watching Mr. Bergman's testimony on YouTube now and am very moved by it.  He was such a gentleman. Rest in peace, hero.

I had watched Brian interview on YouTube. I am a World War Two Historian  with a focus on the Holocaust. I was truly touch by Brian  interview and it will stay in my heart forever. Rest In Peace, for your story will never end and it will touch lives for generations to come.

At first I could not watch this testimony because Baruch is such a perfect gentleman that it double breaks my heart because how can people want to harm someone so beautiful. May his memory be a blessing and his sharing sheds so much light on what was going on in Poland whose government has recently passed laws to say they had nothing to do with the Shoa. I am a British Jew who is lucky enough to be able to live in Israel now.

I watched the YouTube interview and I wished I could meet him and tell him he impacted my life.  I appreciate him sharing his story.   He was very intelligent and resourceful.  I hope his daughters watch his interview.   I wish I could have been a friend to him.  I am very glad he had a wonderful wife, Juliet, who loved him dearly.

I must have watch Mr Bergman's interview about 50 times...a genuine human being who  was as real s a human being can be ..may god bless him ,he could never be a kid...so sincere that it's almost unheard of ...a movie about his life would be a huge success ..I'm a Miami based artist,cuban born ..

I too have just watched Mr Bergman’s testimony and am astounded that he might have thought that nobody cared. On the contrary - we will NEVER forget and I, for my part, will make a point of instructing my grandchildren that the Holocaust must never be forgotten. God bless Baruch and his family 

God bless Brian. His memory is a blessing to us . I watched him tell his story on youtube. What a miracle that he lived to tell us all about his life and will to survive!

We have just finished watching Baruch's testimony on Youtube. It was gripping and we could not stop watching it until early in the morning.
At the end he seemed to believe nobody cared and  that no one would watch it. On the contrary it made us think about what happened and how important it is that it should not be forgotten. The temptation to push it out of one's mind has to be resisted and his testimony was so brave and helps to achieve that.
What a life! What courage! What a will to survive. 
We are grateful to him for recording his story for posterity.
