August 28, 1957 – November 24, 2020
Carlo Saldana, age 63, of New York City passed away unexpectedly at Lenox Hill Hospital on November 24, 2020. He is survived by his wife Jane of 35 years and his stepson James Roscoe Gibson; sisters: Lydia, Daisy and Yolanda; brothers: Robert and Albert. He so loved his family.
He was an A journeymen electrician with Local #3 for 35 years and loved the work he did. His famous words to all of us was, “We light up New York!”
Although he had many roles in the Greenwich Village Little League for over 30 years, his favorite was as a manager and coach. He loved the sport, the organization but most of all, he loved the kids. Whenever things got challenging he’d say, “I’m doing this for the kids”.
Growing up in New York City, he was always a NY fan but there was none closer to his heart than the NY Yankees. “Go Yankees!”
Though Carlo left us to soon, he lived with no regrets. The love he left behind will be with us forever. Until we meet again, we love you Carlo!
